Holiday shopping is not always the easiest venture, so I’ve created this Paleo Gift Guide to help aid the process. It includes some of my top Paleo picks from the past year, as well as some items that I personally can’t live without. Hopefully it will give you a little inspiration for that special Paleo someone on your shopping list (or for your own list).

Cookware
Le Creuset Signature Enameled Cast-Iron 7-1/4-Quart Round French (Dutch) Oven, Cherry ($290)
From roasting to braising, soups to stews, the dutch oven is a workhorse in any kitchen. I think it’s worth it to splurge on a quality one from Le Creuset. They cook amazingly well and are built like a tank.
Wusthof Grand Prix II 8-Inch Cook’s Knife ($98)
A chef’s knife is a usually a matter of personal preference. However, if the Paleo cook on your list is in serious need of a quality blade, this is a great one to start with. You can’t go wrong with German steel, and the synthetic, non-slip handle makes for added safety.
Lodge Cast-Iron Skillet L10SK3ASHH41B, 12-Inch ($26)
It requires a little maintenance, but nothing beats cooking with cast iron.

Great tool for zesting citrus or grating nutmeg.
Appliances
Probably the hottest cooking appliance of the year. It combines the time-saving qualities of a pressure cooker with the convenience of a slow cooker. You’ll never make bone broth without it again.
Cuisinart DFP-14BCN 14-Cup Food Processor, Brushed Stainless Steel ($160)
The food processor is a standard, versatile kitchen appliance that will make any cook’s life easier.
I am seriously in love with my immersion blender. It makes thickening and pureeing soups a snap, works in a pinch for smoothies, and makes homemade mayo a breeze.
Paderno World Cuisine A4982799 Tri-Blade Plastic Spiral Vegetable Slicer ($30)
When it comes to making zoodles, I’ve found this sturdy spiralizer to work great.
