Earlier this month I attended “Cocktails and Castoffs,” a wonderful event that raised support for the non-profit organization Development In Gardening (DIG). DIG is doing some amazing work in vulnerable communities in Sub-Saharan Africa by providing the tools and education necessary for sustainable, community gardening.
The night included innovative and delicious dishes by some of Atlanta’s top chefs, as well as thought provoking discussions on the topics of food waste and food loss.
You can read all about the experience in my article for CulinaryLocal.
